The body of a middle-aged man was found hanging from a tree on the side of Bihar Sharif-Bakhtiyarpur Highway-20 in Nalanda on Tuesday. The matter is near Mehta Cold Storage under Sohsarai police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mohd., 42, son of late Haji Nizamuddin, resident of Mahua Tola of Sohsarai police station area. It has been done in the form of Abutalha. On receiving information about the incident, Sohsarai and Bhagan Bigha OP police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Regarding the incident, the family told that Abutalha had left the house to go to the shop like every day. But he did not reach the shop. Information was received from social media and local police that the body of a person was hanging from a tree on the side of the four lane. After that the body was identified after reaching the spot. Abutalha’s sandal shop is located at Sohsarai’s Adda. Abutalha’s brother Mohd. Khalid told that his brother was murdered and his body was hanged from a tree. However, the family has denied any dispute with anyone. Nor has the reason for the murder been explained.
Meanwhile, in this case, Sohsarai police station incharge Rajamani said that information was received from the local people that the body of a person was hanging from a tree. After that, after reaching the spot, the identity of the dead body was established. The body has been sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The postmortem report will reveal the cause of death. Advance action will be taken upon receipt of the application. At present, the police has started investigating the matter.
